Medanta plans expansion in Gkp
GORAKHPUR, April 26 -- Dr Rakesh Kapoor, director of urology and kidney transplant surgery at Medanta Hospital, Lucknow, on Saturday stated that Medanta is planning to set up a new centre in Gorakhpur and is exploring the proposal with the support of chief minister Yogi Adityanath.
He was addressing media during a continuing medical education (CME) programme focused on modern medical practices, emerging technologies, and the evolving landscape of patient-centric treatment.
Highlighting recent advancements, he discussed breakthroughs in robotic surgery, precision oncology, and improved patient care approaches. He noted that treatment costs are steadily increasing, underscoring the importance of prevention and early diagnosis.
"Our efforts go beyond treatment; we aim to strengthen the entire healthcare ecosystem by sharing knowledge and experience. Such CME programmes foster dialogue among doctors and ultimately lead to better patient care," he said.
