Lucknow, May 22 -- In view of the severe heatwave conditions, the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) has directed all bus stations to keep ORS solution available for passengers and employees and ensure buses are parked under shade within station premises instead of on roads. Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation managing director Prabhu N Singh said passengers must board and deboard buses only inside station premises. Drivers and conductors have also been asked to take special care of passengers during travel and undergo health check-ups if required. The corporation has ordered mandatory 31- point and 13-point inspections before buses are sent on routes to minimise breakdowns....
