MUMBAI, June 25 -- A 22-year-old man was stabbed to death inside a first-class compartment of a local train on Tuesday night, following an altercation with a fellow passenger over closing the coach's doors to protect against a heavy downpour, police said. The victim, Mayank Lohar, was a resident of Virar who worked as a salesman with a retail chain outlet in Andheri. He succumbed to his injuries early on Wednesday. Hours after the incident, the Borivali Government Railway Police (GRP) nabbed the assailant in Panvel after identifying him from the CCTV footage. He was identified as Roshan Suvarna, Inspector Dattaray Khuperkar of the Borivali police station said. According to a GRP officer, Lohar was on his way home after his shift, when an argument broke out between him and Suvarna, who had also boarded the train at Andheri at 10:42pm. After a heated argument, Suvarna pulled out a knife from his bag and stabbed Lohar in the chest and stomach. After initial treatment at Borivali station, Lohar was shifted to Shatabdi Hospital, where he died at midnight, Khuperkar said....
