MEERUT, June 23 -- A woman and her alleged lover have been arrested for allegedly trying to kill her husband at his home in Baghpat district, police said on Monday. The victim, Rajiv Kumar, 30, suffered serious burn injuries and is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Meerut. The incident came to light after Rajiv's father, Satbir Kashyap, lodged a complaint at Binauli police station. In his complaint, he accused his daughter-in-law, Neeshu, and a local man, Vikrant, of carrying out the attack.
