LUCKNOW, July 31 -- A man's body was found hanging inside the toilet of an AC coach of the Chandigarh-Lucknow Express after the train arrived at Lucknow Junction on Thursday morning, prompting a Government Railway Police (GRP) investigation. The body was found during a routine inspection before the train was moved to the yard. A sweeper discovered the man hanging from a ceiling hook in coach B-6 of the third AC compartment and alerted railway officials. GRP Charbagh SHO Dharmveer Singh said the deceased, aged around 30, had allegedly used his shirt to make the noose. "No identity document, mobile phone or train ticket was recovered," he said. Police are yet to ascertain whether he was travelling on the train or entered the coach after it reached Lucknow. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and efforts are underway to establish his identity. Further action will follow after the post-mortem report and identification of the deceased....
