PRAYAGRAJ, Aug. 4 -- A 35-year-old man died after allegedly falling from a moving Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) bus while trying to get off near Kohandaur in Pratapgarh district on Sunday night. His family has accused the bus driver and conductor of negligence and demanded action against them. According to police, Irfan, 35, a resident of Gajehda Pahadpur village under the Delhupur police station area, had boarded a UPSRTC bus from Mauaima and was travelling to Kohandaur. The incident took place at around 8.30 pm when he was allegedly getting off the bus shortly after it crossed the local market area. Police said Irfan suffered serious injuries after falling from the moving bus. After receiving information from passersby, police reached the spot and, with the help of local residents, took him to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Kohandaur. Due to the seriousness of his injuries, he was referred to the medical college, where he later died during treatment. Following the incident, Irfan's brother, Gufran, lodged a complaint with police alleging that the bus driver and conductor forced him to get off while the bus was still moving. In his complaint, Gufran alleged that Irfan fell because of the negligence of the bus crew and suffered severe head injuries, which later proved fatal. Police said the complaint has been received and appropriate action will be taken after examining the facts and investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident....
