Make country's youth aware,empowered: Union minister
LUCKNOW, July 19 -- Union minister for youth affairs and sports Mansukh Mandaviya on Saturday said contemplation signifies a gathering of ideas. Addressing the inaugural session of the two-day fourth and final 'Chintan Shivir' (brainstorming session) on 'Developed Youth Will Build a Developed India,' he said without dialogue, there can be no clarity.
"Do not regard your work merely as employment. Your responsibility is to make the country's youth aware and empowered. When we work as service providers rather than just officials, the results are far more effective," he said.
The department of youth affairs organised the brainstorming session at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow through the 'Mera Yuva Bharat' (MY Bharat) platform.
Describing MY Bharat as the brainchild of PM Narendra Modi, the Union minister said the platform was established to cultivate capable youth leadership that would play a pivotal role in building a 'Viksit Bharat @2047' (Developed India @2047). Speaking on the occasion, Union minister of state, youth affairs and sports, Raksha Nikhil Khadse said, "Solutions are not possible without dialogue. The best solutions emerge from the experiences of our officials working at the grassroots level."htc...
