After dropping the opening set 4-6, Nagrale adjusted his tactics to dominate the next two sets 6-2, 6-2, leaving spectators impressed by his resilience and tactical shift. The result marks one of the tournament's early shocks and opens up Nain's section of the draw. Seeded players largely held their ground elsewhere. Karnataka's Suraj Prabodh, the third seed, produced a composed performance to dismiss Arnav Kokane of Maharashtra 6-3, 6-2. Fourth seed Vansh Bisht of Delhi survived a nervy second-set tiebreak to beat Devaharshith Neelam (Telangana) 6-4, 7-6 (7-4), while sixth seed Nirav Shetty (Maharashtra) cruised past Delhi's Sagar Kumar 6-1, 6-2.
