Lucknow, July 31 -- UP Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana has convened an all-party meeting on August 2 to ensure smooth functioning of the Vidhan Sabha during the Monsoon session beginning August 3. Mahana on Thursday said leaders of all political parties would be consulted to maintain coordination and ensure the session ran smoothly. While the Monsoon session is tentatively scheduled from August 3 to 6, the Business Advisory Committee will meet on August 2 to finalise the agenda. The state government is expected to present its first supplementary budget for 2026-27 on August 4.
