Lucknow's Mukesh secures 36th rank in NEET-UG 2025
LUCKNOW, June 15 -- Muktesh Tanmay of Lucknow has secured the All India 36th rank in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test-UG (NEET) 2025, the results of which were declared on Saturday.
He scored 661 out of 700 marks and is aiming to get admission to AIIMS Delhi.
Speaking to media persons, Tanmay said he hasn't decided on a specific field of specialisation in medicine yet. The physics questions were challenging for him, he said, adding that he had expected more marks than he got.
Several other students from Lucknow have also performed well in the NEET exam, including seven of City Montessori School (CMS), who have scored above 99 percentile.
Eighty students have secured marks above the cut-off percentile, ensuring their place in some of the country's most prestigious medical colleges.
The CMS top performers in the NEET exam are Zoya Khan with 578 marks, Ikra Faizi with 575 marks, Ibrahim Mohammad with 565 marks, Sariya Khan with 564 marks, Gaurika Luthra with 558 marks, Atif Ansar with 555 marks and Aditya Awasthi grabbed 549 marks. The NEET 2025 exam was conducted on May 4, 2025 with over 35,000 students appearing for the exam at 73 centers in Lucknow. In Prayagraj, 20,638 students appeared at 43 exam centres....
