LUCKNOW, Sept. 3 -- In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the University Grants Commission's 'Curriculum and Credit Framework for Undergraduate Programs' (CCFUP), Lucknow University has implemented extensive academic flexibility in its 4-year undergraduate program (FYUP). The university has established three academic pathways for students in the fourth year (seventh and eighth semesters), a spokesperson said. The university is offering a 4-year UG program from the 2021-22 academic year. Until now, the fourth year offered only the option of "UG Honours with Research", which excluded students with a CGPA below 7.5. With the addition of these new options, three distinct pathways will be available based on students' academic abilities.
