Rudrapur, Feb. 7 -- Two people, including a local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and an advocate, died under suspicious circumstances after allegedly consuming liquor in Khatima town of Udham Singh Nagar district on Thursday, police said on Friday, while another advocate admitted to a hospital in Bareilly, is said to be critical. According to police, the trio reportedly consumed alcohol while returning from a wedding ceremony and fell ill soon after.They were rushed to the government hospital in Khatima, where BJP leader Diloo Singh Rana, 52, a resident of Umrukhurd village, died during treatment. The other two - advocates Malkeet Singh Rana, 50, and Pravesh Maurya, 42, both residents of Bhagchuri village under Khatima police station - were referred to a higher centre in Bareilly, where Malkeet died during treatment. htc...
