LUCKNOW, Sept. 26 -- Heavy rainfall and the resulting damage to roads and waterlogging across Lucknow are set to influence the Lucknow Municipal Corporation's (LMC) revised budget. The civic body is likely to increase allocations for road construction, repairs and drainage-related works after the approval from the executive committee. The LMC is likely to hold a meeting of its executive committee on October 1 to consider the revised budget. The civic body has proposed higher allocations under several infrastructure heads for repairing damaged roads and tackling waterlogging.
