LUCKNOW, May 31 -- The Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) has given taxpayers a final opportunity to avail the highest rebate on house tax payments, with the current discount scheme ending on May 31. To facilitate payments, the civic body will keep all zonal offices open on Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm, stated in an LMC press release on Saturday. At present, taxpayers receive an 8% rebate on online payments and a 6% rebate on offline payments. From June 1, the rebate will be reduced to 5% for online payments and 4% for offline payments.
