LUCKNOW, June 26 -- Lucknow Police has announced a cash reward of Rs.50,000 each for two absconding accused in the Aliganj commercial building fire case, officials said on Thursday. The accused, co-building owner Surendra Pratap Shukla and tenant Dhirendra, are wanted in connection with the tragic fire that broke out on Monday at a mixed-use building in Sneh Nagar and claimed 15 lives. Lucknow Police said repeated raids have failed to trace them. A senior officer said search operations are underway and technical evidence is being collected.
