Lakhimpur Kheri, May 17 -- Experts of the Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Bareilly, have unravelled the mystery surrounding the deaths of 25 vultures in Dudhwa buffer zone on April 7. After the analysis of viscera of vultures and the dogs, IVRI scientists established a dangerous pesticide 'carbofuran' (commonly available under brand name Furadan) to be the cause behind the deaths.
