Late-night brawl at Lko club goes viral, two detained
LUCKNOW, July 20 -- A late-night brawl involving a group of youths outside Jalwa Club in Lucknow's Vibhuti Khand was caught on camera, with videos of the incident circulating widely on social media on Sunday.
The footage purportedly shows four to five youths assaulting one another with belts and exchanging punches and kicks inside the club premises while hurling abuses. The videos also triggered criticism online over the alleged absence of police at the scene.
Inspector Upendra Singh, station house officer of Vibhuti Khand police station, said no formal complaint had been received from either side. However, police said preventive action under Section 151 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) was taken against two youths identified as Salim and Aditya.
According to police sources, the altercation broke out during a party after one person allegedly stepped on another's foot, triggering a confrontation that later escalated into a physical fight.
