Varanasi, Feb. 8 -- The Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust on Saturday received a sacred gift and prasad from the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board on the occasion of Mahashivratri, officials said. Vishwa Bhushan Mishra, chief executive officer of the KV Temple Trust, said the trust expressed gratitude to the shrine board for the offering sent for Baba Kashi Vishwanath. Mishra said the initiative would further enhance the spiritual significance of the Mahashivratri celebrations. He described the offering as a sacred gift from Mata Vaishno Devi, the embodiment of Shakti, to Lord Vishwanath in Kashi, symbolising the eternal relationship between Shakti and Shiva. The gift, received on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, will serve as a special medium of devotion, faith and spiritual experience for devotees. The Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust once again conveyed its heartfelt thanks to the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board for sending the sacred offering for Lord Vishweshwar.
