Lucknow, Sept. 26 -- Children battling cancer and their families will now receive support beyond medical treatment. The Kalyan Singh Super Speciality Cancer Institute (KSSSCI), Lucknow, has joined hands with CanKids...Kidscan to create a comprehensive support system covering the entire cancer journey, from detection and diagnosis to treatment and post-treatment care. KSSSCI and the national childhood cancer non-profit organisation CanKids.Kidscan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday to formalise the collaboration under the organisation's YANA (You Are Not Alone) programme. The MoU was signed at KSSSCI in the presence of Dean Dr Pramod Kumar Gupta, chief medical superintendent prof Vijendra Kumar, Executive Registrar Dr Ayush Lohiya, Medical Superintendent Dr Varun Vijay and Dr Gitika Pant, head of the department of paediatric oncology.
