Lucknow, April 11 -- Lucknow Metro services were disrupted on Friday afternoon after a wire used as kite string triggered a short circuit in the overhead equipment (OHE) wire between the Charbagh and Alambagh Bus Stand stations around 4:15 pm. The incident hit operations for over an hour on the Amausi to Munshipulia route. According to officials, the short circuit slowed operations on this stretch, forcing trains to run on a single line. Commuters experienced delays of around one and a half hours as services were badly affected. Despite the disruption, Metro operations continued on a parallel line, which helped maintain limited connectivity along the route.
