LUCKNOW, Aug. 21 -- Three contractual employees of the KGMU Trauma Centre have alleged that touts linked to private ambulance and hearse operators along with some police personnel are pressuring them to share information about patients who may require such services. In complaints dated August 13 submitted to the Trauma Centre's CMS, the employees alleged that they were threatened with termination and warned of consequences if they failed to arrange private ambulances or hearse for patients. They further alleged that the touts forcibly entered rooms used by employees on the Trauma Centre premises. KGMU spokesperson Prof KK Singh said the complaints had been marked to the Trauma Centre police outpost in-charge for action.
