India, Sept. 3 -- Actor Kashmira Irani Saxena, known for Main Vaapas Aaunga and TV show Amber Dhara, is expecting her first child with her husband, pilot Akshat Saxena. The couple recently announced the pregnancy with a joint Instagram post featuring two green coconuts topped with 'Mom' and 'Dad' caps. The caption read, "Current status." Kashmira, who is in her second trimester, reveals that they found out about the pregnancy in May but chose to keep it private initially: "It was a phase that we, as a couple, wanted to exclusively soak in." The actor explained that, being a private person, she needed some time to process the news before sharing it publicly. "Which is why I took my time adjusting to the idea of becoming a mother," she shares, adding, "It felt like the right time to share the news with all." Kashmira shares that she wants to live in the moment: "More than me, Akshat is enjoying each day as it comes. His focus is entirely on me, which is why he planned a nine-day long babymoon to Thailand to celebrate the big news. We are looking forward to January 2027, as we are expecting a New Year baby." Given her pregnancy, Kashmira is looking to portray pregnant women on screen. "I will be available 24/7 once the baby arrives, but for now, I am more than happy to be on screen and play any good pregnant character," she says....
