LAKHIMPUR KHERI, June 13 -- An FIR was lodged against a power department junior engineer in connection with the death of a woman and burn injuries to three other 'baratis' from electrocution in Patti Ramdas locality of Kheri Town on Thursday evening. The FIR was lodged by one Shamim, a relative of the bride, while Shailendra Singh, executive engineer, MVVNL, electricity division 1 of Kheri said the department had lodged a complaint against the contractor who had laid the power supply line. He said junior engineer Vimal Rawat and patrolling lineman Sakir Ali had also been suspended for alleged dereliction of duty.
