VARANASI, Sept. 29 -- Bihar health minister Nishant Kumar is set to hold a conference of his party Janta Dal (united) workers and leaders in Varanasi on October 25, at Karauta, marking his first such event outside his home state. Nishant was in Kashi on Sunday and held a meeting with party workers and reviewed preparations for the upcoming event. Speaking to journalists at the Circuit House here, Kumar stated that the goal is to strengthen the National Democratic Alliance by winning the maximum number of seats in Uttar Pradesh, as also in Bihar. Party workers from across the state, along with senior leaders like national executive president Sanjay Jha, will be present. This conference will mark the launch of the campaign for the 2027 assembly elections....
