LUCKNOW, Aug. 17 -- The death of the 92-year-old mother of IPS officer Ashutosh Mishra at her Ambedkar Nagar home on Sunday is being investigated after some of her belongings were found missing. ADG Lucknow Zone Praveen Kumar said, "Prima facie, the death appears to be due to cardiac arrest. However, the body has been sent for post-mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death. Some belongings of the deceased have also been found missing, and the police are investigating the matter." The deceased, Indrawati, was found dead inside her house in Rudha Dhamrua village under Malipur police station. Family members alleged that her gold chain, a tulsi necklace with gold beads, nose pin, earrings and anklets were missing. They also said blood was seen coming from her mouth. Mishra, posted as SP (Headquarters) in the Uttar Pradesh Police, reached the village from Lucknow after being informed about the incident....
