India, Sept. 11 -- Indian buyers waiting for the new iPhone launch to make last year's model cheaper got the opposite surprise. Apple has raised the price of the base 256GB iPhone 17 from its launch price of Rs.82,900 to Rs.99,900, a Rs.17,000 jump. And no, you aren't getting more storage for that extra money: the iPhone 17 already started at 256GB when it launched last year. The hike comes as Apple revises prices across several older iPhones in India amid a wider squeeze in memory and storage-component supplies....
