Lucknow, Sept. 20 -- With the focus on strengthening the organisation across Uttar Pradesh for the 2027 assembly polls, BJP state president Pankaj Chaudhary on Saturday appointed Trayambak Tripathi as the in-charge of Lucknow Mahanagar as part of a statewide organisational reshuffle. Saurabh Mishra has been appointed in-charge of Lucknow City. Chaudhary on Saturday announced new district in-charges for all organisational districts and mahanagars in six regions-Paschim, Braj, Kanpur, Awadh, Kashi and Gorakhpur. In Awadh region, which covers Lucknow, Tripathi has been given responsibility for Lucknow Mahanagar. The reshuffle comes as the party looks to make the organisation more active across the state, with the emphasis on metropolitan cities. Other major metros include Varanasi Mahanagar and district, both entrusted to Arun Pathak, Ghaziabad Mahanagar to Ashok Kataria and Noida Mahanagar to D K Sharma....
