IMS-LU adopts CAT for MBA; clears BBA-LLB, hotel mgmt courses
LUCKNOW, March 19 -- A meeting of the governing board of the Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) of Lucknow University (LU), conducted on Wednesday, adopted CAT scores for the admission to MBA courses. During the meeting, the governing board approved the proposal to admit students to MBA (Business Analytics), MBA (Marketing), MBA (International Business), MBA (Human Resources), and MBA (Finance & Control) based on CAT scores from IIMs. Additionally, the new curriculum for IMS MBA (All Courses) was approved as per the Lucknow University Post Graduate Ordinance.
The meeting discussed the new curriculum framework for the upcoming 2026-27 academic session in detail.
The faculty of law was instructed to launch an integrated BBA LLB course starting from the 2026-27 session. The vice chancellor Prof JP Saini directed the director (tourism) to convene a meeting of its governing body to launch the 'Bachelor in Hotel Management and Catering Technology' (BHMCT) course.
