LUCKNOW, April 14 -- Pallavi Patel, Apna Dal (Kamerawadi) leader and MLA, on Monday organised a Samata Sankalp March from Darulshafa to Dr BR Ambedkar's statue in Hazratganj where rich tributes were paid to the architect of the Indian Constitution on the eve of his 135th birth anniversary. During the march, her party members and supporters raised slogans in support of the newly issued UGC guidelines, demanding their immediate implementation. Addressing a gathering, the Sirathu MLA said: Babasaheb Ambedkar provided every citizen, particularly Dalits and backward classes, with the protective shield of the Constitution, ensuring their rights remain safeguarded forever."
