PRAYAGRAJ, Oct. 28 -- The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIIT-A) is observing Vigilance Awareness Week - 2025 from Oct 27 to November 2, on its Jhalwa campus. The week-long observance commenced with the integrity pledge ceremony held on Monday morning at the administrative auditorium. Prof Mukul Sharad Sutaone, director, IIIT Allahabad, led the pledge, reaffirming the Institute's commitment to uphold ethical values and maintain transparency in all institutional activities. Prof Sutaone urged all members of the IIITA family to actively participate in the observance and contribute towards fostering a culture of integrity and vigilance. Prof Rajat Singh, chief vigilance officer, said that in pursuance of the notification issued by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), the institute is organising several competitions on the Jhalwa campus. The CVC has selected the theme 'Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility' for the current year's observance, emphasising the collective role of citizens and organisations in promoting integrity, transparency, and accountability. The events include essay-writing competition, slogan-writing competition and speech competition. The competitions will be conducted in both English and Hindi, encouraging wider participation across all sections of the IIITA community....
