VARANASI, Aug. 26 -- The Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Lucknow, has been conferred the prestigious "Best Hospitality Management Institute of the Year" award at the 56th Annual Convention of the Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI), organised at a hotel in Varanasi from August 21 to 23. Held on the theme "Ananta Kashi: Leading the Future of Tourism through Spirit, Culture, Cuisine, and Craft", the convention brought together more than 1,400 delegates from the hospitality, tourism and allied sectors. The award was presented in the presence of Union minister of tourism and culture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, UP tourism minister Jaiveer Singh, Union tourism secretary Bhuvnesh Kumar and CEO, NCHMCT, Gyan Bhushan, among others.Neelendra Prasad Srivastava, principal of IHM, Lucknow, received the award on behalf of the institute.
