Lucknow, April 7 -- In a major narcotics bust, authorities at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport intercepted a passenger arriving from Bangkok and seized hydroponic weed valued at Rs.3.19 crore, said airport authorities. Acting on specific intelligence, officials from AIU at the airport stopped the passenger after he arrived on Flight FD-146. Upon examination, officers recovered seven transparent vacuum-packed pouches containing green flowering and fruiting tops suspected to be high-grade hydroponic cannabis.
