India, Aug. 14 -- Lucknowites are set to celebrate Independence Day in style. From cycle and bike rally, musical event, interactive session to offers of food and curated menu, a lot has been planned to make the day special. HT City gives a peek into the host of things happening on the occasion. The multilevel parking area will witness an event on August 15 at 1 pm where 80 kgs of laddoos will be distributed. Various colourful cultural events under the Bharat Parva will be held on the occasion by Jashn-e-Azadi Trust informed organisers Murlidhar Ahuja and Wamiq Khan. "A musical event will also be held on the I-Day eve at Moti Mahal lawns and on August 16 team members will move around in different localities to collect the flags if someone has disposed of on roads to give it respect," tells Khan. The Hazratganj Metro station will witness and Open Mic and Show Your Talent event from 2 pm onwards.
