LUCKNOW, Sept. 5 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has increased the honorarium for doctors working under National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) (NEET-UG) bond from the existing maximum Rs 65,000 to Rs 1 lakh. Approval of deputy chief minister and health minister Brajesh Pathak has been obtained for increasing the honorarium, stated an order issued by special secretary, Uttar Pradesh government. A government order was issued on August 17 (by Uttar Pradesh medical education department section-2) stating MBBS degree holders from government medical colleges/institutions were deployed as contractual doctors at Community Health Centres (CHCs) and Primary Health Centres (PHCs) under the medical and health department.
