LUCKNOW, Sept. 26 -- The State Health Agency (SACHIS) has constituted a four-member team to conduct surprise inspections of hospitals empanelled under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, according to a press note issued by the state government. SACHIS CEO Archana Verma said the move aims to assess facilities at these hospitals. "The team conducted surprise inspections of hospitals associated with the scheme in Lucknow. During the inspection, the team examined available infrastructure, human resources, staff behaviour, cleanliness arrangements, and proper management and disposal of biomedical waste. The team also obtained information about the facilities provided to patients," she said. The team also inspected the cleanliness in the operation theatres and ICUs of the hospitals. htc...
