New Delhi, March 24 -- Calling the attacks on commercial ships and obstruction in the Hormuz strait as "unacceptable", Prime Minister Narendra Modi told the Lok Sabha that "all our efforts are aimed towards reducing tension and ending this war". Modi assured that the government is "relentlessly trying to minimise the impact of the war on India" and that farmers will not be allowed to bear the "burden of global crisis".
The PM informed the House that "India has more than 53 lakh metric ton of oil in its strategic reserve" and is working for 65 lakh metric ton reserve oil. He added said that the adverse impact of the difficult situation that has arisen due to this war, "is likely to stay for a long time". P4...
