LUCKNOW, May 21 -- Governor Anandiben Patel on Wednesday suggested introducing uniforms for students in universities and colleges while reviewing the functioning of Jananayak Chandrashekhar University, Ballia, at Raj Bhawan. She also issued strict instructions to teachers, saying no teacher should indulge in any act that harms the dignity of the profession. The remarks come amid controversy over an alleged indecent conversation between a Lucknow University teacher and a female student.
