LUCKNOW, Sept. 13 -- The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF), in a joint operation with the Goa Crime Branch, arrested a suspected shooter wanted in connection with the firing on Srinivas Naik at a hotel in Goa last month, just before he allegedly fled to Nepal, officials said on Saturday. The accused, identified as Babu, a resident of Buddapurwa village in Bahraich's Risiya area, was arrested from a culvert near Risiya turn around dusk on Saturday. He was subsequently handed over to the Goa Police for further legal action. According to the STF, Babu's name emerged during the investigation into the August 28 shooting at Hotel Neo Majestic in Porvorim, Bardez, Goa. A case was registered at Porvorim police station under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act....
