PRAYAGRAJ, July 23 -- A 16-year-old girl was allegedly abducted from the Tharwai area in broad daylight near Narayanpur village in Prayagraj on Wednesday morning. According to the police, the girl was riding a scooty to visit her aunt's house with her mother when the incident occurred around 9.30 am. Near Narayanpur village, a car carrying four youths reportedly intercepted their vehicle. The men forced the girl into the car and escaped from the scene. ACP (Tharwai) Arun Parashar said preliminary investigation indicates that the main accused is related to the girl. "Police teams are actively working to recover the girl safely and arrest the accused at the earliest," he said....
