Gangster's Rs.30L property attached
LUCKNOW, Aug. 3 -- The Lucknow Police Commissionerate has attached a residential property worth approximately Rs.30 lakh belonging to alleged gangster Ashutosh Mishra under the provisions of the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986.
The action was carried out on August 1 in compliance with an attachment order issued by the joint commissioner of police (law and order), Lucknow, in connection with a case registered at Hazratganj police station under Sections 2(b)(1)/3(1) of the Gangsters Act.
Police said the attached property is a house built on 111.524 square metres of land in Madiyaon, Mohan Pargana, Bakshi Ka Talab tehsil, allegedly acquired through proceeds of crime. The attachment was executed jointly by the Gautampalli police station house officer and the naib tehsildar, BKT, under Section 14(1) of the Gangsters Act....
