Four districts' CMOs directed to intensify TB-Mukt Bharat drive
LUCKNOW, June 14 -- With Azamgarh, Jaunpur, Basti and Siddharthnagar identified as districts having the highest number of tuberculosis (TB) high-risk villages in UP, additional chief secretary (health) Amit Kumar Ghosh on Saturday directed the chief medical officers (CMOs) of these districts to intensify efforts over the remaining 18 days of the 100-day TB-Mukt Bharat campaign.
Reviewing the campaign, Ghosh asked the CMOs of these four districts to work with utmost seriousness and ensure that all villages. The state tuberculosis officer said that UP has 26,722 high-risk villages, of which Ayushman Arogya camps have already been organised in 17,741. htc...
