Lucknow, May 27 -- Sarojininagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh and Stamp and Registration minister Ravindra Jaiswal on Monday laid the foundation stone for a new Sub-Registrar Office building in Sarojininagar. The office, to be built at a cost of Rs.3.27 crore, is expected to be completed within a year. Officials said the new facility will improve public convenience and help streamline registry services in one of the state's busiest registration zones. Rajeshwar Singh said the existing office handles more than 200 registrations daily and residents had long faced infrastructure-related problems.
