LUCKNOW, May 20 -- A family-run interstate burglary gang that surveyed locked homes during the day, struck at night with cloth tied around their faces and even stole CCTV DVRs to erase evidence, was busted by Lucknow police in Sarojini Nagar. "Police arrested four members of the same family including two brothers, a wife of one and a nephew, and recovered stolen jewellery worth nearly Rs.30 lakh, cash, a stolen Bullet motorcycle, a scooter, a television set, and a DVR unit," said DCP South Amit K Anand during a press meet on Tuesday. According to assistant commissioner of police, Krishna Nagar, Rajneesh Verma, the gang frequently changed rented accommodations to avoid detection and lived lavishly despite having no steady source of income. Investigators said the accused were linked to multiple house thefts reported in Sarojini Nagar and adjoining areas. The arrested accused were identified as Sonu Singh, 30, Shaktiman Singh, 25, Vinita Singh, 24, and Pradyumn Singh, 19. While Sonu and Shaktiman are brothers, Vinita is Shaktiman's wife and Pradyumn their relative. The family originally hails from Bihar's Kaimur district....
