India, May 15 -- Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has reduced his convoy to two vehicles, days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to conserve fuel and reduce foreign exchange outflow amid the ongoing West Asia crisis. Birla earlier had more than four government vehicles in his convoy. A senior official aware of the matter said that "whenever he (Birla) travels to his constituency, Kota-Bundi, Delhi, Indian Railways and public transportation are his top priority".
