IMPHAL, May 4 -- A bomb exploded near the main gate of a Territorial Army camp located near Imphal international airport, Imphal West at around 11.55 am on Sunday, officials confirmed. Based on a CCTV footage, officials said an unknown individual at around 11.34 am planted the bomb near a crematorium located around 1 km from the main gate of Territorial Army Camp located inside the Imphal International Airport along NH 102 (Tiddim Road) under the jurisdiction of Singjamei police station, Imphal West. Later, the same person was seen fleeing on scooter, they said. Officials further said a case has been registered at concerned police station and efforts are underway to nab the perpetrator.
