LUCKNOW, July 28 -- Uttar Pradesh Jal Shakti Minister, Swatantra Dev Singh on Monday directed officials to expedite drinking water projects in all the Japanese Encephalitis (JE) and Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES)-affected villages in the state. Reviewing the progress of the Jal Jeevan Mission, Singh said the department officers should work 24 hours a day in three shifts to ensure safe and clean tap water reaches residents at the earliest.
