PRAYAGRAJ, March 19 -- The evaluation of answer sheets for the UP Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UP Board) High School and Intermediate examinations 2026 commenced across the state on Wednesday. UP Board secretary Bhagwati Singh has directed that the evaluation process be completed by April 1. However, officials face a challenge in meeting the 15-day deadline due to expected disruptions caused by Eid holidays and scheduled recruitment examinations. At some centres, evaluation work is likely to be halted for up to six days. According to Singh, evaluation began at 254 centres across the state, with a total of 942,244 answer sheets assessed on the first day.
