LUCKNOW, Sept. 22 -- Deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak on Monday met a large number of people who came with their grievances at the Janata Darshan held at Pathak's residence. "Resolving the problems of every citizen is the government's top priority," said Pathak after meeting the applicants. He met each visitor individually, listened to their problems, and immediately instructed the concerned officials to take necessary action. The grievances were related to medical treatment, financial assistance, police and revenue matters, as well as family and administrative concerns. Pathak directed officials to ensure that there was no negligence at any level in resolving public grievances and to avoid unnecessary delays in providing relief to needy, according to a statement issued by deputy CM's office. He said the Janata Darshan facilitates the resolution of common people's problems. It is the government's priority to ensure that every eligible person receives an appropriate solution to their issue.
