Haldwani, March 7 -- A 67-year-old man died on Thursday night after allegedly falling ill while sleeping with a room heater switched on at his house in the Pirumdara area of Ramnagar in Nainital district, police said on Friday. The man, identified as Mohan Singh (67), was found unconscious in his house on Thursday morning by neighbours and was rushed to a government hospital. He later died during treatment at a higher medical centre in Haldwani on Thursday night, officials said.
