Eight firms to invest in Noida, create over 25,000 jobs
Lucknow, Aug. 8 -- Eight leading companies are all set to invest in the Gautam Buddha Nagar and help generate 25,000 jobs, the state government said through a press release on Friday. Leading the investment is Avaada Electro Limited, which has committed Rs 16,139 crore to establish its manufacturing facility in the state. The project alone is expected to generate around 7,400 jobs, underlining the state's growing prominence in India's renewable energy manufacturing ecosystem.
Close behind is SAEL Solar P6 Private Limited, investing Rs 8,000 crore and creating nearly 7,760 employment opportunities. The momentum continues with Oriana Power Limited, which has announced an investment of Rs 4,500 crore, while CESC Green Power Limited has committed Rs 3,805 crore, reflecting strong investor confidence in the state's rapidly expanding green energy ecosystem.
In a major boost to India's semiconductor ambitions, the HCL-Foxconn (India Chip Private Limited) project is bringing an investment of Rs 3,706 crore under the semiconductor policy and is expected to create around 3,000 skilled jobs.
Alongside it, Ascent K Circuit Pvt Ltd has announced an investment of Rs 3,250 crore under the FDI Policy, signalling that Uttar Pradesh is increasingly becoming the preferred destination for high-technology manufacturing.
Amber Enterprises India Ltd is investing Rs 3,232 crore to expand its manufacturing footprint, creating around 3,000 jobs, while IB Solar has committed Rs 3,000 crore, generating nearly 3,200 employment opportunities.
